The term “menopause’ indicates that period in every woman’s life characterised by important changes in female hormonal functioning that determine the disappearance of the menstrual cycle.

The average age for menopause to begin is 51, although the range is variable.

Menopause can occur spontaneously, be induced by medical treatments (e.g. reproductive surgeries, cancer treatments). Approximately 75% of women experience symptoms during perimenopause and after menopause, with 25% experiencing moderate to severe symptoms affecting their quality of life.

Coaching provides a safe, confidential, non-judgement space to support you with whatever you may be needing support in during the menopausal stages.

  • an initial consultation covers full medical history is taken along with dietary and lifestyle factors

  • a questionnaire and discussion, looking at your current menopausal experience such as your physical, emotional and relational symptoms that impact your daily life. Examples: hot flushes, mood, brain fog, low libido and personal and professional relationships

  • establishing goals and strategies to put in place to reduce symptoms and overcome challenges and difficulties

    In this initial consultation we gather your medical history, talk about your current lifestyle including eating habits, worklife, stress levels, sleep patterns, energy, physical activity levels, menopausal symptoms.

    This information will then allow us to work together to find solutions for you to manage your symptoms, and address your health and self care goals.

More about Menopause

The average age of menopause in Australian women is 51 years. Perimenopause typically lasts up to 10 years before menopause (cease of menstruation). During perimenopause and after menopause, woman may experience diverse symptoms.

As a woman transitions through the stages of menopause they will encounter different symptoms at different times of transition. Evidence so far shows that having optimum nutrition and supplementation along with adapting lifestyle changes can be most effective in alleviating symptoms and shortening their duration.

Women’s lifestyles over the decades have increased inflammation in the body, therefore it is important to address reducing inflammation to reduce severity of symptoms and other menopause related conditions.
