Are you unsure of where to start? Would it be easier for you to change if you felt fully supported?

We ALL deserve to feel healthy, yet many of us don’t always feel that way. And perhaps we know that we want to make some dietary and lifestyle changes to help us feel better, but we don’t know where to start! Or maybe we can’t really know where to start - because we don’t understand what is actually making us feel so Blah in the first place!

Change is often difficult, even when it is something someone really wants. It’s easy to say “I want to feel better”. But the truth is, if you want to see and feel changes, you have to take action. That’s where I can help you. I can be your advisor, by your side, on your journey to optimal health.

I’m not here to offer quick fixes or fad diets, but to support clients through sustainable positive changes through evidence-based practice of nutrition and health education, behavioural change, and nutrition & lifestyle improvements.

I offer 1:1 online (Telehealth) and in-person consulting and coaching.

What happens during a nutritional counselling session?

  • We work together in reviewing your general health and medical history*.

  • We get to know you and your cultural preferences, dietary preferences and current eating habits. We take into consideration any budget concerns, work and social activities.

  • Show you how to make mindful food choices. This relates to any negative thought patterns and emotions around food. We identify hunger cues, emotional eating etc.

  • Help you prioritise dietary changes and set goals taking into account your unique needs.

  • Create a personalised nutrition plan. In creating your action plan, your nutritionist will consider your ideal calorie intake according to your BMI (body mass index) and nutrient intakes, food preferences and budget. (*additional service cost)

  • Tips on buying healthier food alternatives and preparing foods without sacrificing flavour and enjoyment.

  • Educational resources and tips

  • Supplementation advice and recommendations so you are buying only what you need and what may help with certain conditions.

During your nutrition counselling appointment, you'll be able to share any concerns you have and ask questions. You should expect to schedule one or more follow-up appointments, which will allow your nutritionist to monitor your progress and make necessary changes to your eating plan.

Please Note: *In some cases a Doctor’s Referral may be required for some health conditions before, during or after your nutritional treatment plan.

Disclaimer: a nutritional assessment and plan supports your health and does not substitute or does it replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have any concerns or questions about your health, you should always consult with a physician or other health-care professional.
